Before Staging

Before furnishings lacked the designer look that upscale buyers expect. There is nothing inviting, welcoming or upscale in this before picture. Walking into a loft in this condition makes you want to take a u-turn and head for the door. It feels like you have just walked into a college student's dormitory. There is nothing show worthy for high-end buyers in this before picture. All of the cool, industrial, modern detail is being overshadowed by drab furnishings. There is very little to soften the concrete and view of the parking lot across the street.

After Pictures - Minneapolis Loft Staged

The after pictures present high-end classical-modern furnishings. The decorative pillows add warm, luscious fabrics, color and soft texture to the room. The large area rug adds warmth and softens the hard concrete that may scare the more conservative baby-boomer or discriminating buyer. The original art work on the walls has a presence that speaks to the cultured urbanite's taste for the extraordinary. The decorative window treatments soften the boxy-concrete-drywall-industrial-complex feel of this loft. Soft lighting in all the right places adds a warm glow that makes this lovely loft feel like home.
